About Scott Hostetler, The Game Show Guru

Scott Hostetler's first game show appearance was on Wheel of Fortune in 1978 and he spent the next 5 years trying to get on another show. During that time, he auditioned unsuccessfully dozens of times, each time gathering information as to where he went wrong and what he could do better next time. Then in 1983, he was selected to be on Press Your Luck and has been avoiding the "Whammy" ever since.

  • Scott is a 13 time game show champion with successful contestant experiences dating back to 1977.
  • He has won thousands of dollars in cash and prizes and traveled the US and abroad on the TV game show's dime.
  • Scott is the ONLY champion of both Press Your Luck and its reincarnation Whammy!
  • Scott has been a game show champion in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.
  • He knows the secrets to getting on a game show and can teach them to you! Every person that he has personally coached who has appeared on a TV Game Show has won money!  100% of them!
  • He created one game show and co-created another.
  • Scott is still auditioning for shows today because he loves to play so much.
